Sua Kang is a supporting character in True Beauty. She is Jugyeong Lim's best friend.
Appearance[]
Sua has dark eyes and black hair worn in a bob haircut with a fringe all throughout. She does not find herself as attractive as Jugyeong (with makeup), although in reality Jugyeong knows that Sua is much prettier, though she is "cute" rather than "beautiful."
Personality[]
Sua is an extrovert. She's a very outgoing, friendly, and rather preppy girl. She is bold and daring with her words, for example: shamelessly talking about boy Idol groups she is fond of with Jugyeong, and showing no concern publicly dissing Sujin. She is however very supportive and generous to Jugyeong, always having her back when in need. For example, ensuring she arrives home safely when out drinking, or when visiting a beauty academy together to help explore her career options. She's faithful all throughout, examples include when Jugyeong asked her to distract Suho, or alerting her Sujin Kang posted an unattractive picture of her. She comforted Jugyeong when she was faced with trouble and arguments with her mother. She has Jugyeong's best interest at heart, and thinks that Suho and Seojun are right for her.
Plot[]
Prologue[]
Jugyeong Lim and Sua Kang are best friends, and Sua is devotedly supportive of her all through out.
Episode 3[]
When Jugyeong was new, she introduced herself, along with Chaerin Ahn. They exchange numbers and their friendship starts. Jugyeong says that one of the struggles of being friends with the two however, was not sharing the same hobbies because she enjoyed reading comics instead of gossiping.
Relationships[]
Jugyeong Lim[]
Jugyeong is her best friend. She introduced herself to Jugyeong on the first day of school because she found Jugyeong pretty.[1]
Chaerin Ahn[]
She and Chaerin were friends before they met Jugyeong.
Seojun Han[]
She thinks that Seojun Han is a talented singer.
Suho Lee[]
She thinks that Suho was handsome in the beginning and noticed how kind he was to Jugyeong.
Sujin Kang[]
She realized how rude Sujin was in the beginning.
In the drama, they were best of friends
Aiden Kim[]
She loves Aiden Kim and showed Jugyeong pictures of him.

- Sua is a fan of k-pop boy group Nowboyz[2] but stopped being a fan because her favorite member was in a relationship.
- In the drama, Sua's surname is Choi.
