Episode 3[]
Suho and Jugyeong are at the same comic book store. They reach for the last copy of the same book and their hands touch as they grab it. Suho glares at her and buys the book and then leaves.
Episode 4[]
Suho walks past Jugyeong and she pretends to not see him. Sua Kang and Chaerin Ahn talk about the rumors surrounding him. They say that he was an attractive new transfer student who was not only a jerk but a sociopath, but also at the top of his class at his old school. The body of the keychain doll on Jugyeong's bag falls off and Suho picks it up.
Episode 5[]
Jugyeong meets Sua Kang and two other guys at Bugstar Coffee. One of them is Suho, much to Jugyeong's surprise. She is nervous around him the whole time.
Later that night, they see each other again at the bookstore. Suho asks her to move aside so that he can see a comic book. He seems to not recognize her without her makeup. Jugyeong sees one of Suho's books "Silence of the Goats", and says it wasn't good so Suho asks for a recommendation. She nervously hands him a book titled "Night in Hell". He pays for it and leaves.
The next day at school, Jugyeong gleefully waves at him, thinking that he didn't recognize her from the bookstore. Suho walks right past her, but she is persistent. He gives her his number when she asks and tells her not to contact him unless it's urgent.
At night, they meet at the bookstore again. Suho shyly thanks her for the recommendation. Jugyeong is shocked that the Suho at school and the Suho in the store were the same person.
Episode 7[]
Jugyeong posts a question online about Suho's two personalities. Some suggests that Suho was uncomfortable around pretty girls and into average girls. Another person says that something more could be going on. A third person says that Suho could like her without makeup more.
Jugyeong goes to the store again and the shopkeeper tells her that Suho left her a gift. Inside the bag is a limited edition of a book, signed by the author. Suho left a note in thanks. He tells her that he treasured the book.
The next day, at Bugstar Coffee, Suho sits in silence as he studies his Japanese book. He pays not attention to Jugyeong. Sua says that Suho never made small talk outside of things about school and that he never smiled. Jugyeong agrees, but internally thinks about how Suho smiled at the bookstore. Sua whispers that she heard rumors about how he was friendly in middle school, but completely changed due to something in his life. Sua says she hopes they can be friends with Suho.
At night, Jugyeong goes to a sale on beauty products. After she buys everything, she bumps into Suho on her way home. Suho says that he knew it was Jugyeong without makeup the whole time.
Episode 8[]
In panic, Jugyeong yells out loud that Suho is trying to kidnap her to join his cult and she runs away. He sweats nervously as everyone around him whispers about 'his' cult.
Jugyeong makes sure to arrive early at school the next day so that nobody sees her, but Suho is already there. He is annoyed when Jugyeong pretends to not know what's going on. He hands her back the 2nd half of the keychain doll that fell off her backpack. Jugyeong begs Suho not to tell anyone about her makeup given that she'd do anything he told her to, and he agrees.
Episode 9[]
As soon as school starts, Suho makes Jugyeong get him a box of apple juice and carry his books. She leaves the books in class 7, where she hears girls gossiping about Suho. She unhappily thinks that no girl would be talking about him nicely if they knew what he was really like.
Right before lunch, Suho tells Jugyeong to come with him. Jugyeong makes an excuse to leave her friends and follows him. They go up the roof and Suho hands her a bag with lunch in it. He tells her that he bought his sister's lunch by mistake which was why he was giving it to Jugyeong. They sit down and eat lunch together. Suho gets Jugyeong to agree to see a movie with him.
Jugyeong angrily says that Suho should be watching that kind of movie with his friends, and Suho offhandedly replies to Jugyeong that he didn't have any friends. It becomes awkward for a moment. Suho then asks why she wore makeup today because he already knew, and Jugyeong says it's because people would talk behind her back otherwise. Suho tells her that people didn't know what they were talking about.
Before the movie starts, they go to the arcade. It was Suho's first time in an arcade, but he was already good at everything. Jugyeong catches him smiling and finds it cute. Jugyeong says that they should take a picture in the photo booth together, but Suho is shy and refuses.
A girl that knows Suho sees them together.
Episode 10[]
Jugyeong later looks at pictures of them together in a photo booth, so it is implied that they do take pictures in the end. Jugyeong poses for the pictures, but Suho makes the same straight-faced expression throughout all of them.
Jugyeong goes to the store to buy chocolate, and on her way back she sees a kitty in the bushes. As she gets closer, she also sees a person and screams in fear. The other person screams back, who turns out to be Suho. Jugyeong asks what Suho was doing, and he hides the bowl of cat food that he opened behind his back and says nothing.
She hands him a chocolate milk drink and they sit on the same bench. Jugyeong apologizes about the cult thing, and Suho says that he wouldn't reveal the secret about her face. Jugyeong gets a call from her little brother so she has to leave. Suho tosses her his hoodie before they part ways. When Jugyeong returns home, it turns out the hoodie was extremely expensive.
The next day, Sua asks how Jugyeong and Suho were so close. Jugyeong hesitantly agrees to give Sua Suho's number.
Episode 11[]
Jugyeong returns the hoodie to Jugyeong, saying that her brother tried it on. Suho then decides to gift it if her brother liked it so much. They decide to drop by the comic bookstore and the convenience store. It is awkwardly silent as they walk together.
Jugyeong decides to say something to break the silence. She tells Suho that the food his mom made was delicious, and Suho said that he didn't have a mother. Jugyeong spits out her drink and apologizes to him. There is chocolate milk on her shirt so he takes out a handkerchief and gives it to her. Since they are almost there, they part ways. Jugyeong laments on how she always does dumb things around him.
Episode 14[]
He meets with Sua, Jugyeong, and one other person for their usual Japanese session. Sua shows Suho a picture of Woohyeon, who is Jugyeong's new boyfriend, and Suho narrows his eyes but doesn't say anything.
A week later, Suho sees the same person walking down the street. Woohyeon is with another girl. Suho taps him over the shoulder.
Episode 15[]
They see each other in the comic bookstore again. Suho scares her when he greets her unexpectedly. He asks if she was alright (because she skipped the Japanese study session earlier due to 'sickness') and she says she's fine. He asks her how she did on her practice exams and she reluctantly replies that she didn't do well. When he hears that, he offers to help her by spending two hours after school with her.
They get up to leave because Jugyeong has to go home. Suho fidgets with his hair and asks how things were going with Jugyeong's boyfriend. Jugyeong tells him that it went terribly, and he said that she had one less thing to worry about. She waves goodbye and he smiles faintly as she leaves.
